White Cloud Temple

     Situated on the place two miles far from Outside Xibianmen, Beijing Baiyunguan Taoist Temple, The First Compound of Taoist Quanzhen School, is one of three ancestor places of Taoism Quanzhen. From Yuan Dynasty, Baiyunguan Taoist Temple has been "The First Compound of Quanzhen School" for a long time. After the founding of New China, the national Taoism organizations, colleges, and research institutes such as: Chinese Taoism Association, Chinese Taoism College, Chinese Research Institute of Taoism Culture etc was set up one after another in the temple. The temple is at the top of the ladder in the hearts of numerous Taoists. At the same time, it is a place of worship for a lot of believers and tourists in China and abroad for its richest intact Taoist relic collection.
